Nothing better than fresh asparagus and this recipe is delicious and ridiculously easy to make. Pair it with your favorite entree as a terrific side dish.
Makes 4-6 Servings
INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced almonds
salt
freshly ground black pepper
1 lb fresh pencil asparagus, trimmed and blanched
DIRECTIONS:
In a large sauté pan, over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the almonds.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sauté until golden, about 2 minutes.
Add the asparagus.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sauté for 2 minutes.
Remove and serve.
